This is one of the best film noir with internal monologues/thoughts I've ever watched.

Great movie. A man with an angel and a devil on his shoulders-- both women motivated by love and wanting what is best for him. In the end he escaped the flames of damnation and went towards the light. Quite literally. Lean and mean noir by B-movie master Anthony Mann.
