Very disappointing and I see that the studio hacked to bits Jean Renoir's story and final cut (so he is not the one to blame, 'ronin48'), which definitely showed. And despite being just 66 (!) minutes in length, getting through it was hard work. A real shame, as I feel this had the potential to be a good one. It is no wonder that Renoir left the country after that experience.
