A great movie. Powerful acting and action scenes, as well as a dark undercurrent. Not without its flaws - feels a lot like 'Aliens' in places, plus the Zefram Cochrane plot isn't great. But with many standout moments: the intro dream and battle, the dish, the holodeck, the ready room.

Exciting entry. Not a big of the "new generation" but this is a fun and action packed movie

Leaps and bounds ahead of many of the Star Trek movies. I can't remember enjoying one of the franchise installements this much since Wrath of Khan. The plot is fairly simple yet solid with the special effects and mood weaving together a great addition to the franchise. This was Frakes' first outing for directing one of feature films and he does an absolute fantastic job on it.
