Good, but with a modicum of disappointment, Hellboy is still a genre mashing, action success. Some of the one-liners are cheap and the end... we'll you'll just have to see it. But these characters combined with a modernist take on the occult make it an even more creative movie in hind sight of it being based on a comic book. Overall, a balance of bad and great.
