At this late stage in my silent-movie watching, I was amazed to find a film this unexpectedly good. And it's interesting how many little details are parallel with the famous Disney version -- I don't know if this is because they share the same source material or because Disney copied this film.

I watched it on Kanopy (in pure B&W), because the Tubi version is badly colorized?
