a couple of really nice tracking camera shots elevate an otherwise alright movie.

A surprisingly sophisticated, and surprisingly feminist, film for its era. The story is told in flashback of an attractive, talented but naive young woman and the uncontrolled and greedy men who prey on her. Also, the B&W cinematography is fantastic. Currently available as a $.99 rental on Amazon Prime. 9/10
