Not bad, but I wouldn't compare it with others Kurosawa's movies.

I'd never expected to see the day where Setsuko Hara could rival Bela Lugosi's Dracula posture.

The film is two hours and forty minutes long, yet it took me six hours to push through it. What a frustratingly uninteresting film. Kurosawa has made so many films I consider spectacular masterpieces, but this gave me absolutely nothing.
