I didn't think this was the most brilliant film - mainly, because I found Una O'Connor's (Albert's mother) over-acting to be just too much to bear - but the last 10 minutes are some of the most moving I have seen on screen. Wonderful writing and delivery.

This movie tries very hard to build a huge level of patriotism. Somehow though, as good as the movie is, I just didn't feel it. Great cast and storyline.
