Watch out for Pier Paolo Pasolini as a revolutionary spouting priest.

Arrow UK released this flick in stunning HD on bluray, I suggest buying it and seeing that version. Makes for a way better watch.

I wasn't expecting much, but this is among the top spaghetti westerns I've seen. Lou Castel is an interesting lead character, a gunman who's not stereotypically tough and intimidating. Also, there's some odd homoerotic tension between the main two bad guys. And of course there's Pasolini as a gallant Mexican priest and even his signature actor Ninetto Davoli as a trumpet-playing ally.
