Liked the story and all performances - whether John Wayne's portrayal warranted an Oscar, I'm not sure. Beautiful scenery also adds to the story.

A bit long but I really liked it, it was different. The dynamic with the girl, which is not completely useless, is something you don’t see often in a western.
