I don't know about other editions, but the Murnau-Stiftung's score reminded me of Burton's Batman. I couldn't help but think of that the whole thing. Same key, whatever, but still. And the fucking stunts!

Also not obvious to me, but of interest is that Atilla is played by the same actor who played Dr. Mabuse.
