Strange... the version I have is around 2 hours and 15, although it contains an interview with Michael Apted which is about half an hour long. IMDB lists the feature as a full 3 hours in length.

I must ask: what happens if Ebert dies before the series is "complete"? Will each film thereafter be added to his "great movies" list posthumously?

hahaha @ Jumping. The funny thing is that Ebert did ask that question to Apted, but Apted should have asked him your question in return!

I'm not sure why, but I find all the subjects a bit phonier in this installment. They had all seemed so real to me before, but with nearly each of them something genuine seems to have been lost. Not sure if it's the age of the subjects, or the times they are now living in. Did anyone else feel this way?
