Totally Swedish and totally brilliant in its quirkiness. If you don't take it too seriously it can be a very enjoyable flick and a good social commentary at the same time.

I'd heard great things about "Together" and I'm not sure it really lived up to my expectations - billed as an uplifting comedy for the most part it was darker than I expected with some bitterness and cynicism about the failing dynamic of the traditional family just as much as the constructed commune family, although it is funny and ultimately does have a more positive message than a negative one. It reminded me most of Todd Solondz's "Happiness" in the same way well-drawn characters are deluded about themselves and it takes sexual interactions to reveal the cracks in the facade, although it's no where near as provocative (or horribly funny) as that film.
