Agree with Duke of Omnium. It's well acted, well written, well executed film. Nearly flawless. But most importantly it leaves you with a happy feeling for the rest of your day. I can't imagine anyone hating this movie.

I'm pretty sure this would have been my favorite movie if I was a kid in the late 30s. It reminded me of The Princess Bride. It's got something for everyone.

What's not to like? Great script, great (and plausible) stunts, great cast. Looks great in Technicolor (though a bit oversaturated, like all US Technicolor films). Nearly a perfect movie.
