Thought it was just going to be stupid Brit-grit stuff, but it was excellent. Excellent performance by Considine.

A wonderful slice of Brit grit from Shane Meadows. No-one makes proper British cinema like he does. Paddy Considine is wonderful in the lead role and the story veers from the shockingly brutal to the heart-wrenchingly moving. It's brilliant.

Very good film. Brutal, moving and oddly understated. Paddy Considine is excellent. Would highly recommend to anyone.
