As hyperbolic as he is in real life; Tom Cruise does a surprisingly good job at playing a stonecold sociopath.

Collateral is great. The story is compellingly fresh, and the action scenes are infrequent and intense. Hollywood should pump out more action movies like this; they are a saturday night treat. 8/10

Another exciting thriller from director Michael Mann with a great Tom Cruise playing against type.

(jan2025 update) Looks great in 4K. LA skyline is sharp as a nail. Great action thriller. Wished Cruise would take on more roles like this.
