Louis Mazzini
The worst Oscar winner ever.

People understand the nature of the film (how can you not, Haggis beats you over the head with it), it's just that Crash is a derivative piece of crap that features the most glossy portrayal of racism ever. It's almost insulting.
Want to watch a film that actually has something to say about racism? Check out Spike Lee or Charles Burnett. Not Haggis.
The fact that it won Best Picture is a travesty. What a pile of garbage.

Personally I found it borderline racist that failed to explain the divide effectively. Instead it chooses to show all of the characters have a trace of racist thought or being affected by it without addressing this issue.
Some of the scenes were laughable and were beyond character clichés. Also I instantly lost respect for the film with its portrayal of the 'white' saviours e.g burning car scene or the chase.
