It's like, a realistic version of Badlands. The stripped down, non-romanticized version. I'm still in shock. Barbara Loden is incredible.

In France this is regarded as a minor masterpiece. There is a French DVD (2014), released thanks to the championing by Isabelle Huppert and Marguerite Duras.
