Quite silly, and clichéd, too. Will Rogers is okay, though.

It's moronic presentation of the court of law is just plain laughable. From the very opening scene which features some of the most below the the belt racist humor ever captured on screen, to it's almost pathetic attempts at wittiness this movie fails again and again. As it gets a long we do get some good parts and Will Rogers is charming, but that's hardly enough to save it. Out of the 30 John Ford films I've seen this is by far the weakest!
