Brilliant! Bravo Brando!
There are at least 5 excellent performances in this film, and it has a really engaging story which gets more and more involving as it progresses.

One-Eyed Jacks is indeed an original western film. The plot is typical and basic, but it adds more psychological depth than is common for the genre. The cinematography is also great. The seaside setting provided a fresh breeze and a contrast to the oh-so dusty plains.
However, to really enjoy this movie you must be as much in love with Brando's herculean ego as he is himself. And why does he insist on mumbling every line of dialogue?
