Good movie. Russell Crowe's perfomance in this movie is amazing! Jennifer Connelly is also very good in this picture.

I must admit the reason I refused to watch this for a long time was Russell Crowe. I had seen one or two of his movies and I was not very impressed by him - and whenever there was news about him on TV it was always him beating someone up.

But a family member had seen this movie and finally convinced me to watch it - which I did not regret. In fact, Russell Crowe became the very reason for me to like this movie. Like him or not, but the man is an incredibly talented actor. He impersonated his role with such credibility that it was a pleasure to watch.

I also loved the way the story was told and I don't think it was predictable at all. I liked Paul Bettany, Jennifer Connelly and Ed Harris in the supporting roles, too.

Good movie, but not great. Of course the story of Dr Nash and his wife are very moving, and Crowe's acting is excellent. But beyond that I don't think that it is THAT good.

I see this movie on many "top movies ever" lists and I don't think it deserves to be on the same level of The Godfather, Pulp Fiction or 12 Angry Men.

But good movie. You should watch it.
