Fantastic film. Full of 60s imagery, San Francisco on the cusp of hippie-dom and luminous performance from Julie Christie and a powerful against-type George C Scott. The real star for me though is the work of Nicholas Roeg's cinematography and editing.of Anthony Gibbs. Some people find it dated, but I think it's brilliantly effective.
