I liked this movie a lot more then I thought I would. Nice background animation and the story was fun with some peril mixed in.

I distinctly remember a major review for this movie back in 2002 which read simply "It's a decent movie which features a cuddly blue alien sandwiched between 7 Elvis songs." In a way, that more or less describes the movie but there is much more than that to this enchanting Disney tale. This is one of the few Disney animated movies to focus very heavily on family rather than falling in love between main characters (like the Disney princess movies and so forth.) The film would go on to set itself up as a prime Disney animated classic and boost the main character of Stitch to one of Disney's top recognized characters.
