Luis Buñuel really is a great director.

I loved this movie. It feels more like a stage play but nonetheless it's really good. The only problem that i had was the fact that it's technically considered a comedy and i didn't get that at all. I could see where some things and the whole situation can be considered comical but I didn't think it was. I thought the whole film was a philosophical treaty in itself. I could take months analyzing every single thing about it and trying to figure out what Bunuel try to say with it.

this is not a comedy but a satire simultaneously a spiritual/existential exercise.
