I think it is brilliant for the unique take it takes on morality at the time.
All other movies on the topic I have seen - no matter how brilliantly executed - all had a certain "oh no, we're so pitiful" theme to them. And let's face it, the things that happened were horrific, and deserve to be portrayed the way they have been portrayed many times, and yes, they were pitiful.
But I find this movie has managed to combine that sentiment with a question of morality, which is a truly great feat.

Bravo.
