The first triple monster mash-up is surprisingly viewable material considering the horrible script. The terrible dialogue is somewhat made palpable by a tremendously strong cast boasting names such as Karloff, Carradine, Chaney and Atwill. The lesser known names are also excellent, which make the movie shine whenever there is a human element to the scenes like in the hunchback's interaction with the gypsy girl or in the scenes between the gypsy girl and the wolf man. If you can ignore the awful script - and like the classic Universal monsters - then this is almost a little gem in the collection.
