Actually, correct me if I'm wrong, but this and the Twilight Zone episode are one and the same. Apparently, Rod Serling bought the rights to use the film as an episode of The Twilight Zone.

Lack of dialogue offputting?! 5 minutes shorter? This sounds very strange to me. Why would one want dialogue in this film? And would the film be as haunting and touching if the escape was shorter? One has to get a real sense of the escape. The escape has to be a little long in order for the movie to work. This short is brilliant!
