Don't know why no one has commented on this movie. This is one of my favorite westerns. Not an original story, nor historically accurate, the style seems to take a lot from other western directors, but it is put together beautifully and the casting is brilliant.

A pretty good western with a great ensemble cast. All performances are memorable, but Val Kilmer really is the standout here with his portrayal of Doc Holliday. I recommend it.

Val Kilmer and Michael Bean's best roles ever (with a couple of really cool gun duels). And though Kurt Russell is pretty stoic as Wyatt Earp, there's real soul there. And Dana Delaney is delicious.
